NEET UG Counselling Schedule 2024 Out: Know All Information About NEET Counselling
The NEET Counseling 2024 for admission into medical and dental colleges across India will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). The MCC released the schedule for NEET Counseling 2024 on July 29, 2024. According to the schedule, NEET UG Counseling 2024 is expected to begin on August 14, 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the NEET 2024 exam or are eligible for NEET UG Counseling 2024 can start their registration from the first week of August (tentatively).
The NEET 2024 exam was held on May 5, 2024, and the results were announced on June 4, 2024. A re-exam for 1,563 candidates, who were given grace marks, was conducted on June 23, 2024, and the results for this re-exam were declared on July 1, 2024. The final scorecards were released on July 26, 2024. According to the final merit list, out of 2,333,162 examinees, 1,315,853 candidates are qualified for NEET 2024.
The NEET UG 2024 counseling will be conducted in four rounds - Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and Stray Vacancy Round. Overall, the counseling process is divided into 15% All India Quota (AIQ) counseling/ Deemed/Central Universities/ All AIIMS Institutes/ JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal).

NEET UG Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NEET UG 2024 counselling process, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Candidates must have qualified for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Candidates must be registered on the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

All candidates, including those from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, are eligible to participate in the counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats and deemed universities.
