NEET 2025 Exam Pattern Revised: No Optional Questions, 180-Minute Duration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an important update for NEET (UG) 2025 candidates. The exam pattern and duration will now follow the pre-COVID format, meaning that some changes introduced during the pandemic will no longer apply.
There will be no Section B in the exam anymore. Candidates will now have to attempt a total of 180 compulsory questions 45 each from Physics and Chemistry, and 90 from Biology within 180 minutes. Any optional questions and extra time that were introduced due to COVID have been removed.
