JEE Advanced Counselling and Seat Allotment 2019 – Candidates can register for the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2019 through JoSAA. The registration process for JoSAA 2019 has been started from June 16 till June 25 in online mode. JEE Advanced 2019 counselling and seat allotment is conducted by JoSAA as a centralized counselling process. To register for the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2019, the candidates will have to register for JoSAA 2019 by submitting their application number and password of JEE Advanced. All candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2019 with a qualified rank and meet the other criteria will be able to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process. JoSAA authorities will be conducting seven rounds of JEE Advanced counselling and seat allotment 2019. Who are eligible for JEE Advanced Counselling and Seat Allotment 2019?

Those candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria will be able to participate in the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2019.

  • The candidates should have secured a qualified rank in JEE Advanced 2019 to participate in the counselling process.
  • Should have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in 12th standard (or equivalent) examination. The aggregate marks for admission is 65% for SC. ST. PwD categories.

OR

  • The candidates should be within the category wise top 20 percentile in their respective 12th standard (or equivalent) board examination.

JEE Advanced 2019 Rank List

The rank list of JEE Advanced 2019 released along with the result and was prepared for only those candidates who attempted both Paper I and II. Only those candidates who have secured the minimum prescribed marks or more are listed out in the rank list. The minimum prescribed marks vary for different categories. These candidates can able to participate in JEE Advanced 2019 counseling and seat allotment.

The procedure of JEE Advanced 2019 Counselling and Seat Allotment

Step 1 – Registration – Firstly, the candidates will have to register for the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Advanced 2019 which will be conducted by JoSAA.To log in, the candidates will have to use their JEE Main 2019 roll number and JEE Advanced 2019 password. After checking all of the previously filled details, the candidates will have to reconfirm it.

Step 2 – Filling and Locking of Choices – Registered candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses as per their preference from the available ones. Arrangement of choices can also be done. After the candidates are sure of their selected choices, they will have to lock it.

Step 3 – Allotment of Seats – The authorities will conduct a mock allotment to let the candidates know their probable allotment as per their current choices. They will be able to make changes to their choices after the mock allotment. Allotment of seats will be done as per the merit, preferred choices, category and availability of seats. Seven rounds of allotment will be conducted by the authorities. After each allotment, the candidates will have to select their option from float, freeze and slide.

Step 4 – Reporting at Centres – The allotted candidates will have to download their allotment letter and pay the seat acceptance fee. Document verification will be done at their respective reporting centres. Finally, the candidates will have to report to their allotted institute for confirmation of seat.

  • JEE Advanced 2019 Seat Allotment Letter
  • JEE Advanced 2019 Admit card
  • JEE Advanced 2019 Application Form
  • Duly filled Medical Examination Report
  • Proof of Date of Birth: Class X/HSC/Birth Certificate/Any other certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Class XII/SSC/Equivalent exam Mark sheet and Certificate of passing
  • Category Certificate (OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PwD/DS) issued by the competent authority
  • For foreign nationals: Attested photocopy of the page in the passport containing name, photo and nationality
